My name is Daniele and I am a native Italian teacher specializing in teaching Italian to foreign students.
For over 15 years, I have been helping students from all over the world learn Italian in a natural, confident, and effective way.

I believe that learning Italian is not just about learning grammar rules or studying textbooks, but also about communicating, learning about the culture, and establishing authentic human relationships.

From Italy to the world: my linguistic journey

I was born and raised in central Italy, immersed in Italian daily life, conversations, and traditions.
As a young person, my curiosity and passion for languages led me abroad: I lived in Spain, the Czech Republic, and Ireland, and later worked in Germany, Belgium, and Portugal.

Living in different countries and learning foreign languages allowed me to experience the challenges that every student faces: confusion, hesitation, fear of making mistakes, and finally, the joy of authentic communication.
That's why my lessons are specifically designed for foreign students learning Italian.

Communication, improvisation, and speaking without fear

I have a degree in Communication Sciences, and communication is at the heart of my teaching philosophy.

In addition to teaching, I practice improvisational theater with Vicolo Cechov.
Improvisation plays a fundamental role in my approach to teaching Italian because it helps students to:

speak Italian without translating

react naturally in real conversations

gain confidence and fluency

accept mistakes as a natural part of learning

Professional experience in teaching Italian to foreigners

I have been teaching Italian as a foreign language and second language (L2/LS) since 2008.

My professional background includes:

Master's degree in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language and Second Language

Co-author of the Italian language textbook for foreigners “Al Dente 4”

Teacher training at DILIT International House (Rome)

Experience as an examiner for CELI, CILS, PLIDA, and IT Italian language certifications

Former director of studies at an Italian language school with international students

Over 2,000 students and 1,000 teachers trained in 20 countries.

I have successfully prepared many students for B1 and B2 Italian certifications, helping them pass their exams with clarity and confidence.

Beyond teaching: language as life

Outside of class, I love cooking and sharing meals, traveling, hiking in nature, and discovering new cultures.
I am constantly studying languages and am passionate about cinema, theater, music (I sing and play the guitar), art, museums, and sports.

All of these experiences influence my teaching, because language is not separate from life: it is life itself.
