My name is Daniele Donati and I have been teaching Italian language and culture since 2008, when I returned to Italy after living in Santiago de Compostela, Prague, Dublin and Porto. I love getting to know other cultures and living in countries with different languages and cultures made me feel the need to share mine. I like all languages and the best compliment they can give me when I communicate in a foreign language is "you speak so well you don't sound like a foreigner".

I'm from Macerata, a university town in the beautiful Marche region. I speak fluent Spanish, English, Portuguese and I am a beginner learner of German. Oops, I almost forgot...I can also speak my dialect!

I graduated in Communication Sciences with 110/110 cum laude; I obtained a Master in Didactics of Italian L2 / LS in an intercultural perspective "and completed the training course for teachers at the DILIT International House in Rome.

I am co-author of the Italian manual for foreigners “Al Dente 4” and I have already taught more than 1000 students from all over the world. In the last 7 years I have been director and didactic coordinator of a famous Italian school for foreigners as well as a teacher trainer. I have been an examiner of the CELI, CILS Certifications and for 6 years I was in charge of the IT Certification.

I have held training courses attended by more than 700 teachers all over the world: Australia, Argentina, Russia, Lebanon, Brazil, Spain, etc.
